                                      Welcome Home, Ladies

Well, the Olympics are over! And our American teams did us justice, once again. Now, it’s time to pack up all that Gold and come home; where the dishes await you! (JUST JOKING)

I don’t know about you, but I was doing some serious following of the gymnastics. It was great to see our ladies take the podium so often. And to watch the GOAT take a knee to pay respect to the up-and-comer. Class act.

Yep, that team of women have travelled all around the world being very significant ambassadors of peace and unity for their country. They have become known for their strength, ingenuity, showmanship, tenacity, and overall leadership qualities. It’s what one must have to rise that high in competition. You must possess the skill and the will to hang in there and fight till you win.

Now, what happens when they get home?  After all the parades are over, when the endorsement contracts have been settled? Some, of course will continue to compete. Others may decide to get married, settle in and have a few kids. And, at that point, they are once again in a stiff competition.

Only this time the fight is over who has the ownership and prerogative to make decisions about their bodies. This time, it’s some unknown stranger (who probably yelled their head off for the floor exercises) wanting to say when, how, and what they are allowed to do about what is happening to their own bodies. These legendary spirits because they are female, are now expected to hand over the reins and obey.

Every woman has to make her own decision regarding how she will handle the situation, should it occur. My point is why should they? As a whole, America has once again forgotten that what goes on in others’ bedrooms is not our business. Ownership of another person is illegal. A woman, and her physician of choice, should be the ones who make the decisions regarding her body. My stance is: Abortion is not a decision I would make for myself without health dictating it.  But I wholeheartedly stand behind a woman’s rights to decide what happens to her body at any given time. And that is what this shirt is all about. Ladies, it is time to get out there and throw our collective weight around. Vote for your rights!                                                         Guidayne.com
